The position As our new manager, you will be responsible for setting the direction, for motivating and cultivating high performance and engagement through empowerment of the team. You will ensure that the skills and capabilities of the team are up to date and aligned with the expectations and requirements from authorities and from the organization. Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Ensuring effective timely project deliverable and compliance
  • Proactively build new capabilities and technologies to ensure support to our innovation projects
  • Leading the team in process improvements and challenge the status quo
  • Engaging, motivating, and developing your team, leading by example, and building trust
  • Managing stakeholders internally and externally

Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • A BSc and / or MSc in Engineering (e.g. mechanical, biomedical) or any other related field
  • At least, 3 years of experience with integrated product development, medical device development, medical device production or pharmaceutical production
  • Experience working within people management
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • As a person, you are proactive, have a ‘can do’ attitude and drive problem-solving. In your work, you maintain a good overview while ensuring that important details are in place. You contribute to a positive work atmosphere even when the pressure is on, and you have a track record of successful collaboration towards realising shared objectives. You have an analytical mindset and can easily navigate the intersection between data, people, and processes. About the department
    Testing & Verification plays an important role in the medical device and delivery solution development process, as we deliver specialised exploratory testing and design verifications. It is our responsibility to specify, develop, purchase, and validate new test equipment to support and conduct verification testing of medical devices. The team is responsible for defining and planning testing of our new device and delivery solution projects, and for development and validation of test methods. If you join our department, you will get +60 passionate colleagues with different backgrounds, including laboratory technicians, engineers, and specialists.
