Together with the rest of the team you will support the global production expansion of plastic components for Novo Nordisk different device systems. You will get the ownership of several moulds in our global plastic component production network. Hence this position requires a high level of collaboration across the organization and with contract manufactures. As such it is crucial to maintain good relationships with people inside and outside our organization. You will collaborate closely with technicians, manufacturing development engineers, mould makers and contract manufacturing organizations where you will act as an anchor point for your own tools. Your primary tasks will consist of, but are not limited to:
• Ordering, commissioning, and validating new injection moulding tools to ensure they meet project specifications and performance requirements.
• Leading and supporting various technical projects aimed at continuous improvement, including optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and implementing innovative solutions.
• Managing deviations through systematic problem-solving approaches, conducting thorough root-cause analyses, and implementing effective preventive measures to avoid recurrence. You will actively collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and collectively enhance operational standards. A critical part of this role is to promote and improve LEAN working methodologies, fostering a culture of efficiency, teamwork, and continuous improvement across processes. We can offer you an international workplace with great colleagues with whom you can spar and develop your ideas and knowledge. You should expect up to 20 - 40 international travel days a year.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we envision that:
• You hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical background. Recently graduated with the curiosity to learn and obtain new skills will also be considered for this position. Alternatively, a background as a toolmaker could make you a great fit for this role.
• Ideally you have hands-on experience from an engineering position within production of plastic components in a GMP environment where you have gained an in-depth knowledge of injection moulding.
• You are curious by nature and dare to challenge status quo. As a person, you:

Device Manufacturing & Development is located in new buildings in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød, Denmark. The department External Supply and Acquisitions consists of around 50 dedicated engineers and professionals. The department is responsible for expansion and maintaining our fleet of moulding-, decoration- and robot equipment, and installing new capacity.
