GCMD Technical Operations Assembly is looking to expand our team with both senior and junior engineers to support our high-volume automated assembly lines as well as execute optimisation projects and help develop our systems and processes for the benefit of our customers. You will be part of a team of highly skilled engineers that support our global production network (Europe/China/US), handle improvements, upgrades, and expansion of production capacity with a global production perspective. As a (Senior) Process Owner, your tasks will involve:Getting to know the devices together with the project that is bringing forward the assembly line Participating in validation when delivering the line and handling the daily technical support after production qualification Contributing with your mechanical insights in the tune-up and ramp-up phases of our new and existing assembly lines Identifying and driving improvement projects across our international sites Using systematic problem solving and a LEAN mindset to solve production issues Your role also involves collaborating across several functional areas and with people from different backgrounds. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you:Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in automation, mechanical engineering, or another relevant field - a master is an advantage Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in a similar position within a regulated production environment Showcase excellent communication and collaboration skills Display proficiency in both spoken and written English Furthermore, knowledge/experience with GMP production environments and Licence-to-Operate requirements, CAM and servo-controlled machines, Cognex vision systems, software, setup, error detection, and optimization are an advantage.Additionally, machine learning and advanced analytics would be considered as another plus. As a person, you have a proactive approach and are good at establishing relations with other people while communicating constructively. You have the ability to work flexibly as is required when supporting a production environment. You quickly adapt to changes and thrive in dynamic environments, collaboratively interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. About the department
You will be joining GCMD Techops in our international area which is based in Hillerød. We are approximately 65 colleagues in the unit and we are split in 3 departments with sub-teams. We are responsible for the technical support to our contract manufactures (CM). Our contract manufactures do the more complicated part of our assembly processes for the pens we send to the market after they have been completed in the final assembly areas. We are handling all our newest devices including FlexTouch® and deliver large quantities. We are on a journey of scaling all products to meet the demand in the marked. We are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of in crucial ways by ensuring high quality components at a competitive cost for our customers within prefilled devices.
