SKOV is investing in motors and EC-drive designs, and SKOV therefore seeks a Power Engineer with knowhow and experience within this field.
Power Engineer Key position – International growth company – Sustainable food production

You get a unique key position, where you in close cooperation with our partners, sub-suppliers and external specialists are responsible for developing our product offerings in relation to higher performance, lower energy consumption and lower product costs. You identify optimization opportunities and prepare requirement specifications for electronics and mechanics. Furthermore, you participate in product specification and system performance tests in the internal lab facility. In addition, you are responsible for planning field tests at farmers, which you subsequently execute and analyze as well as providing 3rd level customer support with more complicated inquiries.
To be successful in this position, you are educated industrial technician, electrician or similar, and you have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar engineering education. You also have experience with AC/PM motors, EC drives/VFDs and RCD, and you have knowledge of associated specifications and performance tests. Furthermore, it is a significant advantage, that you have experience ensuring high and stable product performance despite international voltage variations. It is also expected that you master English at a high level both in writing and in speaking.
As a person, you are self-disciplined, innovative and solution-oriented, and you are characterized by your drive, commitment and by your ability to communicate and cooperate across disciplines. You work analytically, structured and with a good overview, and you have a natural ability to follow up on your projects. You are proactive, commercial-minded and goal-oriented, and you are motivated by acquiring new knowledge as well as being the capacity within your field.
