Graphical Designer
Are you a creative graphic designer with competences within InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator? Do you want to work dynamically with a wide range of graphical tasks within photo editing, SoMe, Print media, UX-design, Newsletter designs and Animations? Do you have a creative mind, are you passionate about visual design and are you the person bringing ideas into an aesthetic and clear way of visual communication in line with the DNA of the company?
THE POSITION
You will be a part of an international company and department in the Marketing team with 7 colleagues with different backgrounds within marketing, photo/video, advertising and e-commerce. You will be reporting to our head of Marketing.
You will be a key person within the graphic field in Marketing, handling different tasks within the field of graphic design in line with the SKATEPRO DNA. Your tasks and workdays will be dynamic and inspiring by handling graphical tasks within both photo editing, drawing, print media and UX Design.
Furthermore, you will continuously develop and strengthen our graphic and visual profile by creating inspiring content, concepts and design in close collaboration with your colleagues in the marketing department. You will work clearly with the DNA brand and your commercial understanding in a creative environment with different tasks, both internally and B2C.
Your tasks and responsibilities will primarily be:
- Newsletter design
- SoMe content
- Print media ads design
- UX design
- 2D Animations
- Digital drawing
- Photo editing
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
- You have experience with software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects
- Experience within software as Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Procreate and Figma is a plus
- You have a background within Graphic design (Graphic designer, visual communication, multimedia design, media graphic design, UX etc.)
- You come with 2 years of experience within the field of graphic design
- You are good at working systematically to meet deadlines
- You are good at working in a dynamic environment with fast and changeable tasks, projects and deadlines
- You are structured, organized and with great attention to detail
- You are good team player
- You are self-driven, proactive and a true perfectionist
- You speak and write English (required)
- An advantage if you have been working with advertising and social media
- If you have an interest in action sports, it's a big plus
- You are able to deliver a portfolio with examples of your previous work

SKATEPRO is a Danish action sports e-commerce company based just outside of Aarhus, Denmark, and we sell all kinds of equipment for skate, ski, BMX, surf and much more. Our mission is to ensure everybody who wants to explore the passion within action sport has the means to do so. We give honest advice, so our customer gets exactly what they need instead of what we think sells best. The customer having a good time with our products is our main focus. At our office and warehouse in Søften north of Aarhus, our more than 200 employees work together every day to send action sports products to more than 30 countries.
