Then we have an exciting opportunity for you as Director in our Commercial Excellence division at Demant.

This position as Director will provide you with a unique opportunity of building our Customer Success area from the bottom up and spearhead our journey towards Service Excellence. With your strong focus on first-class customer service, analytical approach, and willingness to drive change, you will be key to ensure service excellence.

We are a dedicated Commercial Excellence team with the ambition to maximize commercial impact across markets and business areas. We accomplish this by developing new processes, tools and learning journeys that help drive efficiency and empower our sales companies to harvest their market opportunities. We are passionate about our cross-functional and cooperative way of working and we are now looking for a new colleague to join us.

This newly created position aims at reinforcing Demant’s approach to Customer Service and strengthening the foundations to provide life-changing hearing health to our customers and end-users. Customer Success will help us sustain our growth, by ensuring that we remain profitable and provide customers with first-class service experiences and to empower sales countries delivering outstanding customer experiences by providing suitable processes and tools.

You will have a key role in establishing the foundation for this journey and uncovering insights that translate into informed and well-founded decisions across our markets. You will have direct impact on the business, with high exposure to top management in Demant.

Key activities and responsibilities include:

  • Conduct assessment on current situation and highlight solution opportunities
  • Develop Service Excellence framework & guidance
  • Develop suitable Service Excellence approach and journey
  • Develop Customer Service guidance & respective solutions
  • Conduct sales country specific improvement projects
  • Gather data to better understand customer expectations & current service performance
  • Develop & pilot customer service improvement approach


Are you our new colleague?
We imagine that you have several years of experience working with customer success, service and a relevant educational background within International Business, Management, Strategy, Finance or Economics. Most importantly, you are passionate about ensuring best practice of customer service, hence solving problems, identifying root causes, and translating analyses into concrete recommendations. You thrive in complex international organizations with numerous and diverse stakeholders.

We expect you to be curious and willing to understand the “why”. You are a structured person who enjoys simplifying complexity and are able to connect with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Furthermore, we hope that you can tick of as many of the following boxes:

  • Experience with customer success and mapping the customer journey
  • Experience in reporting and analysis
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and diverse experience working with internal stakeholders
  • International background – fluency in English is a must, additional language skills are considered favorable
