The position As an Associate Manager for our Training & Development team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the site’s overall training system and standards. Moreover, you will be leading the development and implementation of new training processes and solutions together with your team. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Motivating, leading and setting directions for your team members.
  • Responsibility for the overall training system.
  • Onboarding program for new employees, content control and records management.
  • Building and maintaining strong collaboration with our stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for applying a continuous improvement mindset to ensure that solutions are optimized to meet business needs. You will also make sure that the team’s activities are continuously aligned with the business needs and our strategy. In collaboration with leaders and training responsible across the site, you will be accountable for ensuring that all business areas are successfully able to work with training standards, technologies, and solutions in an aligned and compliant way. In addition, you will be responsible for different training projects, training programs or specific training solutions required as a result of larger process changes or projects. To ensure delivery of the agreed business goals, you apply visual management and role model customer-focused behavior. You will have a workday with a large degree of independence and at the same time, you will have the chance to work closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organization. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you:
  • Preferably have an academic background within Natural Sciences and training/education.
  • Have relevant experience in a leadership role.
  • Have training and competence development experience.
  • Communicate fluently in English and Danish.
  • As a person, you know what it takes to drive projects and changes in a pharmaceutical environment. Moreover, you have a well-developed change management sense and problem-solving skills. About the department You will head up the Training & Development team and lead nine talented employees. Your team is responsible for the overall training system and standards across the site. You will be a part of the QC, Training & Facility Management department management team along with five close management colleagues. The department is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organised in seven departments and with app. 470 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
