About the position You will be Associate Manager of our Quality Control (QC) Support team managing app. 12 dedicated employees – primarily engineers. The key obligations involve: Managing daily activities ensuring handling of quality cases, prioritising improvement activities and coordinating information and resources. Securing quality, validation, continuous improvements. Focus on improving our systems and processes around the QC testing and equipment. Support your employees in their daily efforts to solve tasks and challenges. In close collaboration with other departments at our site, you will shape a working environment that creates job enthusiasm and matches the requests and capabilities of your team. You can anticipate playing a crucial role in optimising Novo Nordisk's supply chain setup for pen needles and ensuring its preparedness for new processes and systems. Therefore, the position includes ensuring that our processes run optimally and are aligned with various supply chain-related meetings and strategic initiatives. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you have: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering Knowledge of GMP production and experience with working in a laboratory Management experience with a set of good people skills Skills within process optimisation and digitalisation Fluent communication skills in English and Danish. As a leader, you have a strong business perspective and a strategic ability to balance quality, delivery and cost. You are comfortable being challenged by more senior stakeholders in decisions on quality issues, and your high level of personal integrity and robustness enables you to integrate different views in the decision-making process. You challenge your colleagues to ensure the best outcome and have no issues in leading a side. You are well organised and create strong results by engaging your employees in taking pride in delivering on their objectives. As a person, you are not afraid of making decisions and setting direction. You are ambitious, proactive and can develop your employees from where they are. You can work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of independence in prioritisation and planning execution. About the department You will be a part of the QC, Training and Facility Management department and have a workday with a large degree of independence. At the same time, you will have the chance to work closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organisation. You will join a management team of six, where you are responsible for providing clear prioritisations in close collaboration with your colleagues. The team is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance and manufacturing development. We are organised in eight departments with app. 475 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
