The position We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Production Engineer with a good understanding of quality and building management, risk management, good communication skills, and an understanding of “the power of teamwork”. A Production Engineer is a role of vital importance in our highly regulated industry, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the team can maintain and drive building projects without disrupting regulated and validated production areas. Your main accountabilities will be:
  • Ensuring compliance with GxP while maintaining or rebuilding areas that are GxP regulated.
  • Setting the direction to ensure a scientific and risk-based approach to building maintenance in GxP-regulated areas.
  • Responsible for managing risk management in general for the site.
  • Responsible for managing security risks for the site in cooperation with Global Security, a Novo Nordisk security service.
  • Driving improvement processes in the team and its areas of responsibility.
    • You will have a workday with tasks that call for your ability to be self-driven. At the same time, you'll have the chance to work closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organization and on multiple management levels. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you should:
  • have a background as an engineer, another technical/nature scientific background or pharmacist.
  • be able to create changes, set direction and independently drive cross-functional work regardless of your expertise.
  • have a structured approach to problem-solving and must thrive in a hectic production environment characterized by many deadlines and ever-shifting priorities.
    • Furthermore, it will be an advantage if you have experience in the following fields:
  • Project management/coordination
  • Risk management
  • Physical security and implementation of a security strategy.
    • In your daily work, you will work together with different stakeholders such as operators, specialists, supporters, technicians, and managers. This calls for your ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English. You should have a flair for IT, and data analysis and quickly get acquainted with our different systems. If you do not have prior experience in the fields of risk management and physical strategy, you must have a desire to learn about these. About the Department You will be part of the QC, Training & Facility Management department, specifically in our Facility & EHS team. The team consists of seven people and is responsible for all facility services and maintenance of buildings, environmental improvements as well as health and safety across the site. We are a part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing situated in Hjørring which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organised in eight departments and with approximately 500 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
