Industrial Utilities plays a vital role in pharmaceutical production. As a department, we both support running production, new projects, and optimisations. As the Experienced Industrial Utility Specialist, you will play an important role in making sure that Novo Nordisk complies to defined Circular for Zero targets for Industrial Utility within our facilities and global production sites, e.g., for energy and water consumptions. Your tasks will include: Participation in troubleshooting and providing support to our sites in Industrial Utility e.g., for projects and act as a knowledge centre for Industrial Utility in Novo Nordisk
Defining technical solutions for Circular for Zero projects
Maintenance of global corporate documents, procedures, and guidelines
You will be cooperating with colleagues from different cultures, with different areas of expertise and at different organizational levels. You will be working out of Søborg, Denmark, but approximately 30-40 travel days in a year may be expected.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: BSc or MSc Degree within mechanical engineering or equivalent
At least 10 years expertise within several areas of Industrial Utility preferably from a pharmaceutical production site
Interest in building on current competences to expand the IU area
Excellent communication skills and are fluent in written and spoken English

About the department
Injectable Finished Products (IFP), Site Support & Improvements (SS&I) is a dynamic department, consisting of 150 employees. The department provides site support and improvement projects of diverse complexity across our global production sites. A high level of product knowledge and process understanding is anchored in the department. We are involved in Circular for Zero initiatives such as optimisations, savings, and recovery. We are also involved in the development and implementation of new Industrial Utility technologies together with the Novo Nordisk Circular for Zero initiatives. Moreover, we are responsible for the interaction between production processes and interpretation of external (GMP) requirements and ensure global harmonization. We actively participate in audits and inspections. You will be working in a team with dedicated professionals and specialists within different aspects of aseptic production; three of these colleagues have Clean Utility as their area of expertise.
