On behalf of our client, ALK, Academic Work is looking for a Finance Business Partner Nordic to execute high-performance business partnering and assure compliance, legal, and financial requirements in local finance areas. You will be part of a fast-growing organization in an international company leading in allergy vaccination.
In time, you will be reporting to the Senior Director of Finance Business Partnering Europe and will have a significant influence on business related decisions. You will support the business, challenge the business and based on that have an impact on the business related decisions. You will receive a thorough introduction for the position from the current Finance Business Partner. You will be part of the Nordic afiliate and part of a Finance Business Partner-team consisting of seven people spread across Europe.
You will also be offered to participate in ALK's development program "The Next Level", which focuses on improving finance and personal skills, aiming to further develop every participant in the program.
In this position, it's essential that you are goal-oriented and have a strong willingness to perform. You are organized and highly focused, as well as very customer orientated.
Understanding Swedish will be considered an advantage but is not a requirement.

About the role

Job duties
- Drive and steer Business – and Budget Planning, and Forecasting processes
- Influence business decisions and offer advice to the general manager
- Assure compliance (taxes, internal control, signing approval, approve invoices)
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting including analysis and comments
- Develop and support business cases
- Project work for the Nordic
- Presentations of business overviews
- Report to Senior Director Finance Business Partnering Europe
We are looking for
- A master’s degree in finance or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of experience in Finance with 1-2 years as Finance Business Partner/ Business Controller
- Previous work experience in an international setting, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge/experience in Planning and Reporting tools and SAP (or similar ERP system)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness for regular travel activities (frequently to Nordic headquarters in Sweden)
- Drivers license
- Excellent Danish and English skills both written and spoken
Understanding Swedish will be considered an advantage but is not a requirement.
