ALK is looking for a Global Market Access Manager to join the Global Market Access and Public Affairs team. Market access and public affairs are critical elements for ALK in order to achieve our growth ambitions. These ambitions will not be met unless we can ensure sustainable prices and access to our products worldwide. In addition, we work to ensure that allergy is recognised as a condition that for many people has a strong negative impact on their quality of life as well as large societal costs.
The position
You will be responsible for generating evidence and communication materials to show the value of ALK’s products to payers. A key part of this role is working with global health economic models and adapting them for use in local markets around the world. This includes managing and authoring scientific publications.

The team
You will be a part of ALK’s Global Marketing organization and you will report to the Senior Director of Global Market Access & Public Affairs. Our department is responsible for reimbursement and pricing globally, including market access strategies, evidence generation, global dossiers and health economic models and other strategic projects to improve access to AIT.
We always try to develop our competences and processes in order to the meet the needs of the patients and all stakeholders, internally as well as externally. We are driven by a high level of professionalism, integrity, an open-minded approach and contributing to an inspiring and fun working environment together with colleagues.
We work closely with other areas within Global Marketing, other Global ALK functions, and with our affiliates globally.
The position is located at the ALK headquarter in Hørsholm.

The position
You will be responsible for generating evidence and communication materials to show the value of ALK’s products to payers. A key part of this role is working with global health economic models and adapting them for use in local markets around the world. This includes managing and authoring scientific publications.
Fields of responsibility
- Manage various market access, HEOR or real-world evidence (RWE) projects. Either to support ALK’s products or allergy treatment broadly.
- Work with local affiliates to ensure optimal price and reimbursement.
- Pricing management of ALK products globally.
- Manage publications of scientific HEOR papers.
- Develop value communication strategies and execution of these, e.g. global value dossiers etc.
- Cross-functional collaboration with other parts of ALK, e.g. clinical development and life cycle management functions, to ensure market access considerations and analyses are part of decision-making.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, health economics, medical, pharmaceutical sciences or other related discipline.
- Experience working in market access and/or health economics in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. The ideal candidate has relevant experience, but we also welcome more junior profiles to apply. We believe that with the right toolbox and mindset we can get the right candidate up to speed.
- Strong technical understanding of health economic concepts and analysis techniques, including cost-effectiveness modelling, budget impact analysis and other health economic assessment methodologies.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and ability to work cross-culturally.
- Understanding of reimbursement processes and the different types of payers globally.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think strategically.
