The position
As Manager for BioAnalytics, you will be part of Analytical Development consisting of 45 committed colleagues divided into 4 departments and a core team. All deliveries in the department are made with a high focus on quality and regulatory requirements. Organisationally, Analytical Development is part of Global CMC Development in R&D.
BioAnalytics consists of 4 laboratory technicians/bio analysts and 3 academic staff. The department's tasks are versatile and include the manufacture and commissioning of critical reagents, analysis of serum samples from clinical studies and support for R&D studies. We have a special supply in the manufacture of serum pools and biotinylated allergens used for the analysis of marketed products, as well as products under development. BioAnalytics collaborates with many departments in both R&D and QC on our sites in Hørsholm and Madrid. Global CMC Development participates in development projects provides data on samples from clinical studies and contributes to inspections from authorities and partners.

Your profile
You are educated cand.polyt, cand.scient, cand.pharm or similar, preferably supplemented with a PhD. You are an experienced people manager who works well in interdisciplinary collaboration with many different stakeholders, both internally and externally. You are result-oriented and like new challenges.
As a person, you are team-oriented, enthusiastic, and positive. You take a critical approach to professional issues and ensure progress on the tasks to the appropriate quality level. You understand how to work in a structured manor, and you take responsibility for the team and your own tasks.

Fields of responsibility
- Performing leadership by developing and motivating the team to perform its best
- Ensuring that the team qualifications and competencies are in accordance with the current GMP and GCP requirements
- Set the academic direction for the department in relation to the protein chemical processes, as well as develop new methods for biomarker analysis, e.g., on the Gyros platform.
- Ensuring an overview of overall deadlines and priorities in connection with biomarker analysis, forecasting, production, and implementation of reagents
- Ensuring good collaboration with stakeholders in the organisation covering research, QC, QA, regulatory affairs and clinical development.
- Cooperation with allergy clinics in different countries
- Optimisation of work processes with focus on electronic systems
Your profile

- Are experienced with GMP to produce reagents and GCP in connection with analysis of biological samples
