The position
As a Student Assistant in ALK’s Sustainability team you will work alongside dedicated colleagues who are passionate about integrating sustainability into our business processes across the globe. You will be in contact with a range of stakeholders and experience how sustainability plays an integrated part of reaching our strategic ambitions to the benefit of people with allergies, the environment and society in general.
The Sustainability team is responsible for developing ALK’s strategies, policies and targets within the sustainability field, and for embedding sustainability at all levels of the organisation. As a student assistant, you will:

The Sustainability team is responsible for developing ALK’s strategies, policies and targets within the sustainability field, and for embedding sustainability at all levels of the organisation. As a student assistant, you will:
- Conduct research on sustainability trends and best practices.
- Support the preparation of sustainability reports and communication.
- Communicate sustainability progress and initiatives internally and externally.
- Gather data to report progress to sustainability rating agencies such as MSCI, EcoVadis, Sustainalytics and Global Compact as well as assess opportunities to improve ratings.
- Assist with the development of sustainability policies, especially related to human rights and other “social” matters.
Your profile
To be a match, you must be enrolled in the last year of your bachelor’s or the first year of your master’s program in a related field such as climate, human rights due diligence and/or responsible business practices.
Moreover, we imagine that you have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of sustainability rating schemes, EU taxonomy and/or the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is considered a plus.
