Exciting opportunity as Senior Investor Relations Manager. Do you want to impact the future shaping of Investor Relations (‘IR’) in an international, growing pharmaceutical company?
The position
We are strengthening the Investor Relations function in ALK, and we are looking for an experienced IR Manager to join the team. The role offers a unique opportunity to impact the way, we think and work with financial stakeholders and value creation, and shape the communication with investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders.
As our Senior Investor Relations Manager, you work independently and in collaboration with different stakeholders across ALK and externally. You are close to the decision-making processes and, therefore, able to contribute significantly to ALK’s future success. You will report to the VP of Investor Relations, who reports directly to the CFO.
What you will do
Your profile
Your qualifications include a well-developed IR toolbox and approximately 5 years’ experience, which you may have gained from a global IR function, or similar. You have strong analytical skills with a profound understanding of capital markets, financial reporting, and valuation methodologies. Furthermore, you have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
You must be skilled in project management and have experience with driving and executing projects in a global organisation, since you will be working independently with many stakeholders across different levels and countries. You will work across different business areas, functions, borders and cultures, which is why organisational flair is a key skill.
You have a Master’s Degree in Finance, or similar relevant education.
You are a person with a proactive, curious, and positive mindset. You are service-minded, pay attention to details, and thrive in navigating in a dynamic and international environment. You are execution oriented, , and you are able to prioritise and establish timelines and structures in your work. You have a can-do, hands-on attitude and high personal integrity. You are tech savvy and have an interest in exploring new innovative solutions and ways of working.
Travelling: Some travel activity is to be expected.

What you will do
- Together with the VP of Investor Relations – you will set the direction for IR and our way of working with financial stakeholders in ALK.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in drafting financial reports, company announcements, and investor presentations.
- Drive (planning, coordinating and participating) investor roadshows, presentations, and meetings.
- Analyse and present investor feedback to ALK’s Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and timely responses to requests from investors and analysts.
- Continuously and proactively seek and stay updated on global IR trends and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, enhance and maintain initiatives, processes, and policies within the IR area.
