Are you eager to apply your theoretical skills in an international finance function, supporting the Senior Finance Management? Are you willing to challenge the way Faerch runs its Finance and Business Control functions across the business units? Then we have an opportunity for you to join our business and show us what you can do!

The Finance Graduate Programme is an exciting and challenging 18-month Programme beginning in September 2021, consisting of three rotations of six months each, including one rotation with international project experience.

As a Finance Graduate, we offer you a chance to experience and enhance the existing practices within the Group Finance function.

In Group Finance we are responsible for consolidated monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting on group level, tax and tax compliance, master data, product costing, BI- and CRM-systems. Additionally, we take part in a number of complex group projects among other areas of the business.

The Programme will strengthen your development and business knowledge by introducing touchpoints with Sales, Production and Supply Chain functions to gain insight into KPIs management, value stream, planning tools etc.

As you progress through the Programme you will take on projects that involve working at our other sites outside of Denmark. This could be for a few days or for up to 6 months depending on the project. You can expect to be involved in several projects outside of Denmark. In the end of your Graduate Programme, you will have the opportunity to present your learning and contributions to the senior business leaders.

You will gain understanding of a number of core Group Finance tasks and will be responsible for single-functional and cross-functional projects.

You will lead on projects and assignments designed with the business needs in mind, improving your skills and confidence. Regardless of which functional areas the projects will involve, you will get a chance to unfold your potential using your Finance toolbox to establish procedures, define KPI’s, create reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations. Due to dynamics of our business, the projects will vary.

Additionally, you will have a career mentor, who ensures learnings from e.g. internal and external training, network sessions, conferences and similar events to strengthen your professional development.

We will take you through an introduction plan, making sure that you are introduced properly to your new colleagues and tasks. A buddy will be assigned to you from your first day, who will assist and advise you on how to solve practicalities.

  • You have added knowledge within your functional area(s) to our business, by applying your theoretical skillset.

  • And, at the end of your Programme, you are able to independently manage cross-business projects centered around Finance and Business Control.

WE ARE CALLING TALENTS

  • Graduating no later than the Summer 2021, or close to the final thesis, with a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, e.g. HA, Cand. Merc. or similar.
  • Achieved high grades through the study and ambitious to be among the best in your professional field.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, and are open to potentially spending part of the Programme abroad.
  • With high-level analytical skills, cooperative mindset and problem-solving attitude.
  • Possessing a strong will, self-motivation and personal drive.
  • Being able to sell own ideas, explaining them with the passion and respect and being persistent, if required.
  • A pro-active and independent profile with the ability to seek out solutions and act upon them.
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset that allows you to get inspired from the places you see and the people you meet.
  • An ambitious, but yet humble and loyal personality.
