HSE Supervisor

Then perhaps you are our new team member because we are looking for someone with the necessary HSE experience to fulfil a key role in the promotion of a safety-driven culture at our operational sites in Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
Would you like to:
Oversee HSE implementation and monitor processes
As an HSE Supervisor, you develop, implement and monitor daily adherence to environmental, health and safety policies. You ensure that practices and procedures are aligned with our HSE objectives and report results to management. Your tasks include:
Work internationally
You have approximately 60 days of travel a year, as you regularly visit our operational sites abroad. At the moment, these are in Denmark and the UK, but as our international operations are growing, the area you cover may very well expand.
Experienced HSE specialist with excellent coordination skills
You have a background in the technical construction or offshore industry, most likely as an engineer, a building technician, civil constructor or similar. You have an outgoing nature and excellent communication skills, as you collaborate regularly with colleagues from a range of backgrounds, both on-site and off-site. You speak and write fluent English, and preferably Danish. In addition, you need:

Your office is in Holsted, where you work closely with your highly competent colleagues in the HSEQ team referring to our HSEQ Manager. We provide guidance, governance and compliance surveillance within HSE for the entire B&W Renewable organisation. - Advise and support the organization on HSE matters and risk assessments?
- Implement initiatives to improve the safety culture?
- Travel internationally to ensure that HSE guidelines are implemented on all operational sites?
Oversee HSE implementation and monitor processes
As an HSE Supervisor, you develop, implement and monitor daily adherence to environmental, health and safety policies. You ensure that practices and procedures are aligned with our HSE objectives and report results to management. Your tasks include:
- Coordinating the day-to-day HSE work, conducting safety inspection rounds and coordinating and participating in project and safety meetings
- Conducting HSE audits and inspections and initiating analyses of accidents and major near-misses
- Launching initiatives on the basis of accident and trend analyses, inspections and audits of separate projects as well as across the organisation
- Initiating HSE projects on site and acting as the link between the basic organisation and our project management team
- Developing the project related parts of the HSE management system
Work internationally

- 5+ years’ HSE experience from a multinational organisation
- Good working knowledge of Danish and British health and safety and environment legislation
- Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, CDM and Root Cause Analysis
- Experience with implementation of safety culture activities
- Good IT skills, as you will use MS Office and internal databases in your everyday work
- Driving licence, as you will be driving to our construction sites regularly
