About the job
The project you will be working on is of high strategic importance to Novo Nordisk and will have high visibility and support from Senior Management. Together with different IT departments, engineering partners and suppliers you secure the enterprises and manufacturing applications are designed, implemented, and integrated for our new manufacturing facility.
In this job you:
You will have to manoeuvre between traditional waterfall project methods and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
About the department
You will be working in Manufacturing IT, which is part of our global IT organisation, and you will also be an integrated part of the expansion project organisation which is being established in the coming months.
You will get the opportunity to join an international, high performing team. We are supporting IT and OT used in production and we take responsibility for new IT investment projects with the focus of harmonising and standardising IT systems across our manufacturing areas.
Manufacturing IT is an area in Global IT, which is a global community of 2100+ colleagues, driving digital, data, IT and OT across Novo Nordisk.

In this job you:
- Collaborate with and guide colleagues across multiple IT and LoB organisation areas, e.g., project and maintenance teams, system teams and IT architects.
- Drive and facilitate development of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Target Architecture for enterprise and manufacturing systems
- Set direction and provide guidance as IT solution architect in API capacity projects in manufacturing area
- Ensure and support implementation of target architecture and adapting best practices and agreed standards for all IT and automation (OT) solutions
- Drive the agenda for IT (and OT) solutions in close collaboration with vendors & global IT areas
- Act as subject matter expert within enterprise and manufacturing solutions for API. Key systems used is: SAP ERP, manufacturing executions system PAS-X, Labvantage LIMS system, New material handling system. In scope is 10-15 IT solutions that needs to be implemented and integrated in the new manufacturing site.
- Design, develop and implement IT and automation solutions.
- Drive the future IT solutions in API from Global IT.
- Actively share best practice, knowledge, and visions cross projects (E.g. participate in developing a IT/OT strategy for the maufacturing sites and one or more system strategies)

Qualifications

- You have a MSC or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Computer Science)
- 5+ years’ IT professional experience
- 3+ years’ employment as IT Solution architect in large organisations
- Ability to solve complex tasks structured
- Knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements
- Preferred experience with automation (OT) systems E.G DSC
- Preferred experience within the Pharma industry or other process industry
- You are able to perform stakeholder management at various organisational levels - including senior management teams
- You have experience from a large global company and use to working with different cultures.
- You have worked in a complex vendor setup. We want to work as one team and drive for joint results.
