Our mission is to transform our department into a more automated and digitalized laboratory where a main objective is to minimise human interventions during analysis and increase the stability and efficiency of the processes. With the increased number of samples in the coming years the automation and digitalization journey are becoming even more important than ever to reduce repeatable working processes that are ergonomically challenging. In the department you will work together with project managers, academics, technicians, and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines. We guarantee that you will be involved in exciting and professional challenges with development opportunities. The department IM2 QC Laboratory is located at Kalundborg and supports several productions. The QC laboratory performs chemical, microbiological and biochemical analysis as support for DAPI and Biotech Rare Diseases (BRD). Furthermore, we are responsible for media production in API. We are approx. 130 highly dedicated employees, divided into 7 teams.
You will be a part of the ‘Building, equipment and IT’ team which is responsible for the building and equipment at the QC laboratory in IM2. An experienced team with competence and huge interest in automated and digitalized processes and equipment.
Your daily working place will mainly be at the Kalundborg site and there will be close collaboration with other Novo Nordisk sites’ Innovation and Automation facilities.
In Kalundborg where the department is located, you will have close collaboration with our customers in the manufacturing sites and the laboratory. For developing automation and robotic solutions your primary collaboration partners will be colleagues in the QC laboratory. The position As our new Robotic and Automation Engineer in 273’s QC-department, you will have the unique opportunity to play a major role in maturing, starting up and shaping our innovation projects within the field of automation and digitalization regarding our manual processes for the QC methods. You will play a key role in design and building our new automations solutions in the QC laboratory. We are breaking new ground, so you will work closely together with your colleagues and our early development area to find and build the best solutions- together with ensuring the projects supports the strategic direction by aligning development projects in close collaboration with own and other QC areas, production sites, IT, and other relevant stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. Your main task will be to ensure successful development by building automated solutions in the QC laboratory. It is expected that you together with your colleagues will drive the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to identify the state of art solutions. You will do so by: Securing progress on our innovation projects Be able to take proof of concept to the next level Facilitating great collaboration between our stakeholders and collaborations partners. Manage stakeholder relations within PS API and across Novo Nordisk Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: A relevant education within automatization, ex. Robot Engineer, Automation Technician, Automation Engineer etc. Experience with building automation and digitalization solutions (2-5 years) Experience working with PLC and HMI Strong understanding of data and programming Full professional proficiency in English Experience working in the pharma industry and within GxP is certainly an advantage, but not a prerequisite. As a person, you are open minded and eager to see new possibilities within our field and area. You also speak your mind with ease during discussions and knowledge-sharing. You have natural passion for doing things smarter and better. You have ability to work together with external partners and therefor you must be eager to search for the opportunities in partnerships across our organisation. You have a great communication and stakeholder management skills when it comes to creating and facilitating networks. Managing a large network of people is something you are well-managing.
