The Position As our Packaging Associate Manager, you will be heading up a team of operators and skilled workers of New IFP KA SDD Department within our CVP area. You will be a key part of our teams and your primary responsibility will be to develop a highly engaged operational team to achieve break through targets and support your colleagues with a fast ramp up in assembly and packaging lines. You will be responsible for delivering a stable production according to the schedule, while having an eye for optimising the workflow. Most operators and skilled workers are working in shifts and as a manager you will be expected to be on the shop floor with your employees. Your key responsibilities will be: Hiring people and ensure the implementation of and the compliance with the production targets and quality procedures in the area. Coordinate the execution of the training plan for the area, ensuring its accomplishment. Coordinate the workflow in the area. Ensure the reliability and availability of the production data of the area. Coordinate projects in area of expertise, oriented towards the LEAN culture and benchmark of the best practices. Other responsibilities include following tasks: Negotiate cross-departmental demands that influence the performance of the area, implementing actions that comply with the agreements set, as well as answer for internal and external audits, Follow up the Operator, Operational Technicians and Operational Coordinators performances, providing technical and behavioural feedback, Be responsible for overview any safety and EHS issues in production area and also ensure regular WPA and safety walk in production area to make sure good safety control, Participate in initiatives and projects for environment protection in production area, as well as drive for coaching KATA in production team aiming for people development and growth mind-set development. Other individual assignments are to ensure collaboration with relevant stakeholders/best utilization of manning resources as well as execute tasks assigned by senior production manager according to business need. You will work in close collaboration with the CVP Assistant and make a daily difference for your colleagues. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: A bachelor’s degree within Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business or related fields. Experience within Pharma or related industries. Experience within the following: setting direction, engaging others, prioritization according to strategic aspirations and/or stakeholder management. You are fluent in oral and written English. It is considered an advantage to have a broad and well-proven leadership toolbox, Lean experience, GMP knowledge and experience with digitalization and automation. About the Department We are responsible for the implementation and operation for assembly and packaging of our medical devices. While we continually improve and update our process, we are also a launch site with responsibility for implementing and validating new products and production equipment. Finally, we are also deeply involved in capacity expansions and are currently in the early stages of the project to build completely new assembly and packaging lines.
