Are you passionate about capacity planning and supply chain analytics? Then you might be the new Strategic planner & Supply chain analyst we’re looking for to join our team! The position As the strategic planner you will be responsible for the long-term plans with a span from one to 10 years. Through your close collaboration with production management, facility development and project management, you obtain the prerequisites for the plans and forecast you must prepare. Based on the plans, you prepare analyzes for capacity needs and constraints, which later is basis for the decisions the management takes on manning, investments etc. You will have dialogues across functions in the production, central logistics, facility development and project departments, as well as our team leaders in, and around, the production. The position is new in Business Support so it’s a fine opportunity to set your own footprint on the way the position develops and how the tasks are performed. Your primary tasks will be:
  • Prepare standard values and prerequisites for future capacity budgeting and planning.
  • Manage the process of preparing the capacity budget and production agreement with central Logistic.
  • Manage the process of preparation of the Long-Term Forecast (LTF).
  • Prepare capacity analyzes in connection with new projects and ramp up measures to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Stakeholder in projects related to capacity development and ramp up initiatives.
  • Respond to inquiries from stakeholders such as Finance, QA and others who use the budgets/plans in their own planning.
  • Qualifications To be successful in the job, you have:
  • An academic degree in production planning, supply chain, engineering or equivalent.
  • +3 years of experience from a similar position and preferably from larger industrial companies.
  • A good knowledge of ERP-systems, data modelling tools, and you master the MS Office tools. Excellent presentation skills in Power Point are also a must.
  • A strong analytical mindset, and excellent data management skills to make relevant data driven decisions.
  • Proficiency at a business level in both spoken and written English. Danish is a plus.
  • Interest in operational optimization, project production and passion about creating an efficient flow.

Besides, you are the type that sees constraints and opportunities for improvement and manages to execute on them. You are structured in your way of working and takes pride in clear and distinct communication at all organizational levels and manages to act as a link between many internal stakeholders. That’s said, you are highly coordinating, analytical and responsible, and has the courage to challenge so that the maximum is obtained from the capacity and processes. About the department Our team is part of the BRD Finished Products Kalundborg area that is part of our largest production complex in Novo Nordisk. Here we are app. 675 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We rely on our stabile/well-run/best-in-class packaging department and our newly established high-tech and high-volume filling facility. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly, and pack.
