Apply today for a life-changing career! The positionIn this role, you will be responsible for: Leading and motivating the API IT team to achieve proficient support to our manufacturing sites. Ensuring operational excellence through a robust and agile delivery organisation (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment). Driving continuous improvement through Life Cycle Management of current technologies, implementation of new technology and sharing best practices. Ensuring manufacturing IT systems are in compliance with requirements from internal, external, local, and global authorities. Developing and implementing the API IT strategy to support Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) and Product Supply (PS) API strategies. Ensuring workshops and approval flow via the right governance forums.
As we are growing and expanding tremendously across the current production facilities and expanding with new facilities, to be able to meet current and future needs, this we will an evolving position that will change and adjust to the business needs.This role offers the opportunity to work across our API sites in Denmark and the USA. The main work location is Kalundborg, with some flexibility to work from home or from another office (1-2 days per week). QualificationsTo succeed in this role, we imagine that you have: Good understanding of pharma production processes Experience taking ownership of IT systems and IT systems management Proven track record as a strong leader in IT and Change Management Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Business Administration, Management or similar Experience working cross-functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels in addition to excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills Fluency in English and ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner

Above all, you should be willing to work on the shop floor with our colleagues on the sites and communicate at all levels of the organisation. About the departmentThe position is placed in the Business Support area at our API site in Kalundborg which is part of our global production division; Product Supply. The department that you will join currently consist of + 50 highly engaged and highly motivated colleagues with competencies covering both IT, automation and the forefront of technology and production.The API Business Support area consists of about 160 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API.
