The headquarter Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) team is looking for a Student Assistant to support with a variety of tasks
An exciting student role within Maersk Group Governance, Risk and Control who ensures an effective and efficient risk based internal control framework across the Maersk Group.
Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) is based in Finance and drives the overall control framework to ensure a sound control culture and control environment is in place.

You will be responsible for assisting the management team in driving a professional insight of controls and issues across Maersk.

You are likely to be involved in the following tasks:
• Help building and preparing monthly control and issue reporting across Maersk
• Help ensure that data quality and sources are robust
• Help maintain control performer data to ensure these are updated
• Help monitor timely control performance from control performers
• Help develop and prepare regular communication to be distributed on relevant control and issue areas
• Help develop automated solution for controls
You are currently studying a Bachelor/Master within Data Engineering, Economics or equivalent with flair for Excel, PowerBI and SQL capabilities and a passion to optimize use of data.
You are a service-minded individual who enjoy working with others to find solutions and you have an analytical mind-set.
You are at ease in managing multiple and changing priorities and stakeholders, and can keep a good overview even during busy periods.
You are a fast learner and have a strong sense of urgency and drive to deliver quality in your work - all at the same time.

It will be an advantage for you to be outgoing since you will be in contact with many different people during the day. It is important that you quickly develop a good relationship with your primary internal stakeholders.
You bring a positive spirit everywhere you go, and do not mind chipping in when others in the team need assistance.
