Join Funding & Markets, where you’ll be part of the team responsible for all external funding activities of the A.P. Møller- Maersk Group, our internal bank and relationships with credit rating agencies, bond investors, banks, and export credit agencies.
In addition, the team is responsible for managing the interest rate risk on group level.

Funding & Markets team is part of the Global Treasury & Risk organization with 70 treasury professionals of 12 nationalities based in Copenhagen, Cape Town, Dubai, Haag, India, Panama & USA.
The position will give you an opportunity to advance your knowledge within funding activities, and you should expect a dynamic working environment characterized by a broad range of challenging and exciting tasks.
In the role you will be in close dialogue with internal and external stakeholders, which will enable you to build your network and add value in our global organization.
You will also gain valuable understanding of the treasury operations in a large global corporation which will open ways for your future career both in Copenhagen and abroad.
As Funding Officer, you will together with your colleagues, develop and execute our financing strategy and ensure that Maersk and its subsidiaries have enough diversified committed funding (bank loans, bonds, export credit financing, project financing and other credit facilities) to support the business strategy.
Responsibilities will include the following:
• Taking responsibility of clearly defined work streams in connection with raising new funding incl. drafting term sheets, negotiating loan documentation etc.
• Work actively with the debt portfolio to minimize the funding cost, while reflecting our market view and risk appetite.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as banks and the company’s business units.
• Be prepared to take on challenges outside your established job description incl. ad hoc analysis and tasks.
We are looking for a seasoned finance professional, ideally with at least 3-5 years of relevant loan/funding experience from a large corporate treasury, bank or export credit agency. You hold a master’s degree in finance, economics, law or similar.
You have:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills as you will be dealing with many internal and external stakeholders.
• A positive and open mindset and are comfortable with working in a changing environment with many different tasks.
You are a self-starter with ability to work independently and bring projects and work to closure.
