Main responsibilities
This role is an exciting opportunity to develop your competencies in a professional and dynamic organisation with a high degree of knowledge sharing and sparring. Tasks will vary in nature, both in terms of content and duration, but you will among other things:
This means that you will follow developments in financial markets, be in frequent contact with our banks, and trade on behalf of DFDS. In addition, you will interact frequently with senior internal stakeholders and stakeholders across DFDS’ business in Europe and in Turkey.
Preferred candidate profile
You have recently finalised, or are expected to finalise within the next months, a master's degree in Economics or Finance with great results. Alternatively, 1-3 years of experience within Treasury or within the financial sector could be an option.
As a person, you are curious and collaborative by nature with a positive attitude towards challenges. You will be engaging with many different stakeholders; thus, it is important that you can handle different priorities simultaneously while holding on to your good sense of humour.
In addition, you enjoy challenging status quo, you can make complexities easy to understand in written and spoken English and you love to work in a team and having fun while doing it.

Placed in our new headquarter on Marmormolen in Copenhagen you will be part of Group Treasury. You will be reporting to the Head of Group Treasury who, due to the strategic importance of the area, reports directly to the CFO. You will be part of a team of 7 people based in both Denmark and in Istanbul.

- Handle DFDS’ daily liquidity in various currencies
- Manage interest rate risks, bunker risks and currency risks
- Support and execute decisions related to funding and ship financing
- Conduct financial analysis to senior management
- Support the M&A agenda of DFDS
- Work with our shared service center team in Poznan to optimize our cash management set-up
