In DFDS Logistics we strive for all of our logistics operations to run on the same digital platform to enhance collaboration and synergy. As our business is rapidly growing and new colleagues and physical locations are continuously added to the DFDS network we need a leader who can manage a team of specialists and together with operational management drive ambitious digital implementation projects.
Having all logistics activities operating within the same digital tools is key in a transparent and efficient process and therefore we need YOU.
You will join a team of highly skilled and motivated colleagues and play an important role in our implementation team with reporting line to the Logistics Tribe Lead in Technology & Innovation.
Due to the nature of the role the position could be based in any of the logistics offices in our network but regular presence in Copenhagen is needed alongside the ability to travel during implementation projects.
Main responsibilities
As Head of Logistics Implementation & Support, you will be responsible for a team of 10-12 colleagues who are spread across several locations in our network. In this role, you are responsible for the overall implementation project activities, from project priority alignment to timelines. You need extensive communication skills in order to lead the team in the right direction and to build trust and commitment with key stake holders.
More specifically your main responsibilities include:
As implementation projects happen locally in a given operational office, intensive travel activities are expected in periods.

- Continuously strive to develop and improve the way we integrate new business to our joint digital platform
- Manage change and expectations with stakeholders on all levels
- Set targets for team and individuals while keeping high motivation
- Provide guidance and sparring with team members
- Coordinate priorities and timelines with peers and stake holders
- Continuously build and assess implementation roadmaps (short, mid and long term)
- Ensure high quality support of +1,000 daily users

- Good knowledge of business processes and how to map same to right digital tools

- Are willing to go the extra mile when needed and enjoy the flexibility of variety of work intensity
