Want to lead content development and external relations for DFDS?
Do you know what makes a good story? Are you able to build a focused and consistent content strategy?
Then you might be whom we are looking for to take DFDS’ communications to the next level.
Teamlead for DFDS’ Content & External Relations team
Reporting to the Director and Head of Group Communications, you’ll work with 11 skilled communications professionals and oversee the daily management of three team members. As Content & External Relations manager, you are responsible for developing relevant and engaging content across DFDS Group channels. To do so, a content strategy must be established around differentiating agendas and progress must be monitored and analysed.
One of your primary objectives is to increase media positioning in key markets and regions on selected agendas like green transition, diversity and execution of DFDS business strategy.
Other priorities include developing thought leadership, employee advocacy, media training and advice of spokespersons, and support with issues, risk and crisis management.
An equally important task is the daily development and engagement of team members in the Content & External Relations team. The team comprises a social media manager, a digital project manager and a multimedia student assistant. The team has successfully implemented a social media strategy growing the social media community by 40% and increasing social interactions by 60%. Internally, the team has established professional company-wide town hall meetings and is looking to develop a new podcast channel.
With audiences counting more than 11,000 employees and hundreds of thousands of followers across our social media channels, you can impact many with excellent content. It will be your job to develop content that makes employees proud of working with DFDS and position us as the leading, ambitious transportation and logistics company we are. You will work closely with communications colleagues across markets such as Turkey, The Netherlands and the UK when doing so.
