Facility Management is a central function for ensuring that our colleagues have the optimal working conditions to perform their daily tasks, and there are expectations that this support function is able to react fast and efficient when changes are required.
The challenge of the job lies in delivering a cost-effective facility management that supports the business needs, keeps employees happy and position DFDS headquarter as an attractive workplace.
You will have plenty of contact with different stakeholders both internal from Employees to Executive Management, and external such as facility management partners, tenants, suppliers, and authorities.

Your main responsibilities will be and not limited to:
- Drive the facility management area in an efficient way
- Ensure maintenance of the facilities in line with best practices
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to the facilities covering but not limited to security, health, and standards.
- Manage the daily relationship with facility partners
- Identify, initiate, and implement efficiency opportunities that both delivers financial as well as environmental benefits
- Ensure constant optimization of the office layout in line with the business needs
- Review and negotiate with sub-suppliers
- Budgeting and financial control of the Facility Management area
- Responsible for DFDS art collection and historical archive
- Responsible for managing DFDS Holiday houses with external admin supplier
- Responsible for the evacuation plans for DFDS HQ
About you

We imagine the ideal person for this position will have:
- Few years’ experiences in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of Danish and English, both oral and in writing.
- Technical knowledge of building systems is considered as an advantage
- Experience with negotiations
- Experience with and understanding of basic finance (budgeting and budget follow-up)
- Experience with emergency management
- Knowledge of terminal operations considered an advantage
- Experience with and use of Microsoft 365 product suite
- Excellent knowledge of Danish and English, both oral and in writing
