Do you have experience with HR operations and have an HR background? Are you an outgoing person, who is ready to be a part of an interesting transformation? Then keep reading!

On behalf of Novo Nordisk, we have a temporary position for 12 months, as HR Operations Consultant available – starting as soon as possible. You will be a part of Novo Nordisk unit in Ørestad, Copenhagen.

You will join an organization that consists of several Novo Nordisk units: the Regional Office for Region North West Europe, the Danish sales affiliate, a Clinical Development Centre and the Business Area for mid-sized markets. The employee group is hugely diverse in terms of professional specialties and backgrounds. The regional office environment is very international with 25+ different nationalities and with colleagues being based in multiple countries. You will be part of a team of 5 HR-colleagues.

HR operational activities have formerly been handled entirely by the inhouse local HR team with support from the global shared service center in Novo Nordisk. As part of a new operating model for HR in Novo Nordisk, an increasing number of tasks will be either self-service offering for managers/employees or handled through our shared services center. This journey will be ongoing for a few years and some tasks will stay with the local HR team.

Your overall responsibility is to support the managers and the HR teams with tasks around HR Operations. Your main tasks are:

  • Handle HR operations related to the employment of cross-border employees by managing various internal and external stakeholders.

As a HR Operations Consultant you will also cover the following areas:

  • HR support to employees working on virtual contracts (not DK based)
  • Execute on the entire mobility life cycle
  • Handling and validation of contractual documents
  • Maintain local online HR policies
  • Various documentation and reporting support
  • Support to P&O team with Global HR Project participation – such as projects related to the Global P&O transformation and other HR projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Have full responsibility for requests under audits
  • Run Payroll with Novo Nordisk internal Payroll department.

We are looking for a person with a strong drive, who is accountable and highly solution oriented. Furthermore, you are proactive, persistent with a high degree of independence, and drive. Finally, you have a pragmatic and positive “can-do” attitude and thrive in a dynamic environment.

You hold a bachelor or master’s degree within HR, business administration, occupational psychology, communication, or similar.

We expect that you have experience with HR operations and specifically mobility related tasks. It is also important that you are comfortable engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Additionally, you have a good sense of details and numbers. You need to be ready to take the challenge with finding the solutions to complex matters, you are used to handle sensitive information with very high level of ethics. You are comfortable with a fast pace and changing environment. Written and spoken fluency in English is a requirement. Finally, it is an advantage if you have experience with working in SAP HR.
