You will be part of the global market unit Ramboll Transport and as Innovation Lead you will be responsible for day-to-day steer, development, and management of innovation within Ramboll Transport and across our Country Market Units. You will for this role report to our Innovation and Digital Transformation Director in Transport.</p><p><strong>Your main responsibilities</strong><br>
As the Innovation lead in Transport, you will take a lead on all matters relating to innovation activities in the Transport market and supporting in our <strong>Strategic Market-driven Innovation </strong>objective. This will include:</p><ul><li>Working together with our Innovation and Digital Transformation  Director in building and developing structures, capabilities, and resources & capacity to empower Innovation in the Transport market.</li><li>Creates and leads an open and transparent portfolio of innovation ideas for the market.</li><li>Communicating about innovation across Transport market and run specific innovation initiatives and campaigns.</li><li>Chair our innovation board and drive strategic decision-making regarding innovation for the Transport market.</li><li>Actively supporting the innovation teams and activities e.g., by creating action plans and budgets for technologies and innovations and monitoring progress, value and outcomes.</li><li>Drive Transport’s innovation processes and methods to increase awareness on innovation.</li><li>Represent Transport in the cross-market forum for Innovation & Business development and actively align with the Heads of Innovation in the other markets to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration.</li><li>Contributes to identify opportunity spaces for innovation investments by monitoring market activities and external trends to ensure that the market continuously gain competitive advantages.</li><li>Identifies and engages with start-ups and other entities to keep an overview of market direction, and to also investigate opportunities for acquisitions in this space.</li><li>Monitoring and managing the portfolio for all innovation projects and coordinating innovation activities across all Transport country market units.</li><li>Reporting status and focus areas on an ongoing basis to the Transport leadership team and to Ramboll Group Innovation team.</li><li>Coordinate our engagement with academic institutions and research programs, including following up on Transport investments and disseminate outcomes.</li><li>Work alongside the Head of Automation and the Head of Technology and Digital Design to support innovation initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong><br>

For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills and experience in driving change</li><li>Superior communication skills in English</li><li>You have experience with the Lean Startup methodology and/or design thinking</li><li>You have +3 years of experience working with innovation or related areas</li><li>Well informed about Transport and wider engineering and consulting industry trends, new technologies and start-ups and understand the threats and opportunities.</li><li>Experience in working in a consultancy engineering environment is preferential.</li></ul><p>Personal qualities that will ensure you succeed in this role include:</p><ul><li>A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.</li><li>You can manage tasks independently, and when needed, you make decisions to reach out for support.</li><li>An external network with clients, knowledge institutes and funding institutions that can enhance the innovation ambition of Ramboll Transport</li></ul><p><strong>Work at the heart of sustainable change</strong><br>
