We utilize a range of tools, from simple scripting to advanced CFD simulations. Our clients are located in different regions and operate in diverse markets, including Building, Energy, Environmental & Health, Transport, and Water.</p><p>Due to the growing demand for advanced CFD services, we are seeking CFD engineers to support our continuous development efforts. Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies, and people around the world.</p><p>In your role as CFD engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled team with long cross market knowledge, supporting the different business units in Ramboll as well as direct support to external Clients.</p><p>As an integrated part of our department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering design support, verification services, as well as addressing operational issues and conducting both high level and detailed technical assessments for our clients.</p><p>Our typical projects encompass a wide spectrum of design phases, ranging from early-stage design iterations to the validation and prototyping of innovative solutions.</p><p><strong>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</strong></p><ul><li>Understand client needs and help scoping CFD modelling services.</li><li>Delivery of CFD services across disciplines. Typical tasks will include pre-processing, simulation, post-postprocessing, data analytics and reporting.  </li><li>Work independently while communicating and coordinating with colleagues, project managers and clients.</li><li>Support the ideation, sales and tendering activities of the team towards external clients and help our colleagues in other parts of Ramboll.</li><li>Take part to the maintenance and development of both existing and novel CFD methodology integrated workflows.</li></ul><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company.</p><p><strong>Required qualification:</strong></p><ul><li>Master’s degree in engineering, or a similar field, with focus on fluid-dynamics and numerical simulation (CFD).</li><li>Deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid-dynamics and numerical simulation.</li><li>Minimum of 2-years of relevant experience with commercial and/or open source CFD codes.</li><li>Candidates with proven knowledge in one of the specials focus areas are encouraged irrespective of the professional experience.</li><li>Ability to plan and perform quality work within deadlines.</li><li>Legal right to work in Denmark.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred qualification:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in understand and using the following CFD codes: OpenFOAM (ideally Engys Helyx) and Star-CCM+ CFD codes.</li><li>Deep understanding of one or more of the following fields: Buildings (Cleanrooms and HVAC), Process/Chemical/Combustion, Modelling, Machine learning/AI.</li><li>Project management experience.</li><li>Willingness to interact with Clients and stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.</li><li>Experience with technical sales activities.</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate results through presentations and reports.</li><li>Problem solving and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Ability to work closely with colleagues ensuring that the quality of the deliverables and deadlines are met.</li><li>Familiarity with Linux based High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems or HPC on the Cloud.</li><li>Experience in programming in Python, Bash and Java.</li><li>Familiarity with commercial CAD tools (Rhino or similar 3D CAD software)</li><li>Proficient in English and Danish (not mandatory), verbally and in writing.</li></ul><p><strong>Ramboll in Denmark</strong></p><p>Ramboll is a leading engineering, architecture and consultancy company founded in Denmark in 1945, with 17,500 employees globally.
