EcoTree International in Copenhagen
EcoTree is looking for a Carbon specialist to become our Carbon Offer Manager. Your tasks will include:
- Become our “Carbon Guru” within the organisation and act as our Carbon in-house expert, i-e the main reference person for all carbon-related topics
- Strenghthen and continuously develop our commercial Carbon offerings, mainly towards our corporate clients (B2B segment)
- Respond to key-accounts’ RFPs (Request for proposals) on Carbon offerings, together with our commercial team
- Maintain a permanent survey/intelligence on all regulations, certifications, etc. on carbon-related topics
- Help our Communication and Marketing team to carry a truly genuine, expert and responsible message around our carbon sequestration activities (towards both our B2C and B2B communities)
- Participate to the continuous improvements & development of our in-house Carbon methodology, together with our team of scientists and forestry experts
- Continuously train and empower our team on all carbon-related topics (carbon market, carbon pricing, etc.)

But as the focus and interest on carbon sequestration grows, we have developed over the past years a genuine and solid nature-based carbon removal offering, which we now want to bring to an even higher level. This is where YOU come into the picture!
Who are you?
You have a solid engineering and/or commercial academic background, and driven by your passion for making a positive impact on our planet, you have spent the last years specifically on the Carbon topic, in either a corporation, think tank, NGO etc. More specifically, we are looking for someone with:
- A University degree
- Min. 2-3 years with hands-on experience within Carbon-related topics, such as Carbon markets, Carbon marketplaces, corporate Carbon neutrality commitments, Science-Based Target Initiatives, etc.
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge on all carbon-related certifications and regulations
- Solid theoretical background, strengthened with a strategic and business-oriented mindset
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently on an initiative from the concept, to the strategy and the execution
- Completely fluent in written and oral English. Skills in French are a plus.
