group.ONE is looking for a Group ESG Manager to join our Copenhagen office
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's overall Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program.
The ESG manager will work with managers, employees, and shareholders to address the organisation’s environmental responsibility approach to minimising the group.ONE’s environmental impact and making sure the group is aligned with ESG policies and requirements.
This is a newly created position, and you will be the sole resource dedicated to the ESG agenda. This is why you should expect to be the go-to expert in all ESG matters.

What you will be doing
- You will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and driving the implementation of energy and carbon reduction projects and action plans for group.ONE to achieve targets
- Develop an ESG strategy that is directly aligned with business objectives
- Develop and implement corporate sustainability initiatives
- Develop annual and long-term UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Create policies and guidelines related to ESG strategy for the group
- Monitor local regulations to ensure compliance with climate and energy policies
Need to have
- A degree in Sustainability, Law or similar relevant education
- 3+ years of working experience with sustainability and/or similar work
- Speak and write English fluently
- Knowledge about the EU Taxonomy, Science Based Targets (SBTi) and CDP reporting
- Working experience with ESG reporting, implementation, and strategy
Nice to have
- Working experience with CSR reporting
- Proactive state of mind to find new green initiatives and more
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong drive for the green agenda
