You will sit within the wider Global BI Services Group where you will manage and hire a team of 10+ BI Consultants who will drive the agenda for best in class BI & Analytics. Your team will be considered a trusted partner working closely with commercial stakeholders across finance, sales, marketing, retail, digital, product, merchandising, operations, HR & IT helping them to maximise the value of Pandora’s data to drive cultural change.
Through sharing best practice with data and the education of users you will be instrumental in driving the change management agenda to educate & maximise value of our data assets. You will engage closely with business units to ensure that the team & roadmap are aligned to business requirements and ultimately smarter business decisions are delivered via business & analytical assets.
You will lead in the analysis of data, working to improve accuracy, speed of delivery and effectiveness through changes and implementations of processes, systems and more. Further, you will present information back to stakeholders so that they understand how to be more successful in their roles based on analytics & insights that your function will provide. This will enable business users to gain access to valuable information through your role, assuring that smarter decisions are being made. In addition, you will be responsible for a number of critically important workstreams & business areas, including:
- Strategy: Own the BI Consulting & Strategic Analytics strategy; define scope of services; workstreams etc.
- BI Governance: With the VP & Directors, drive the agenda in Pandora (including metrics, reports, KPI’s etc. via a strong process implementation
- Pandora One Stop Shop Platform (OSSP): Revisit reporting landscape for business on the OSSP to ensure that insight apps deliver on business requirements and ongoing roadmap
- BI Board: Key lead member of BI Steering Board in leading analytics, insight & data agenda
- Organisational Change Management: Serve as an advocate and champion across the organisation, driving alignment of all BI Consulting & Strategic Analytics activities
- Company KPI’s: Responsible with VP & Business Units to deliver Company KPI’s, reporting, insight & action recommendations to Executive Leadership Team
- Business Impact Stories: With the assets & insights at your disposal you will build out business stories to enable senior management to have a full picture to action strategic business initiatives
- Data Trust Accuracy: Ensuring that the data used and delivered continuously builds trust in its correctness and as such you are seen as the go to person for producing impact story driven analysis for senior management
What is needed to succeed:
From a professional perspective, we imagine that you come with minimum seven years of experience from a leadership position, whereof minimum five years has been specifically within leading and developing BI and/or Analytics teams. Further, you come with:
- A Background in delivering commercial benefits through embracing data
- Strong analytical skill set with a clear business impact focus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, ideally in an analytical field

- Are a strong stakeholder manager with the ability to interact seamlessly with C-suite employees
- Come with strong people management and engagement skills

Additional information:
This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 15 days a year also to long-haul locations such as Hong Kong, Bangkok and Baltimore.
The position reports to our VP Global BI Services.
