We are looking for a student designer to join our Saxo Experience team in Copenhagen. At Saxo Bank we are committed to constantly improve the user experience and we know that the visuals are a big part of that, which is why we are looking to expand our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and learn from the real world, you are the candidate we are looking for. You will be working closely with our Lead UX Designer and Lead Visual Designer to ensure you learn the latest and greatest in the design world and bring best in class digital experience to the market.
About the job
In the role as Student Assistant, Visual Design, you will assist our design team and UX designers with building high fidelity mockups and prototyping based on research based wireframes, sketches and inputs from stakeholders. You will furthermore work with our latest strategy and learn how a strategy can from top level to execution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating visual mockups in collaborations with UX designers for platforms
- Help execute and refine high fidelity deliveries
- Ensuring that design and visual communication are aligned with our Corporate Visual Identity and Design System
- Help execute high fidelity prototype for our UX designers and research team
Your profile

- Strong visual ambitions and knowledge about how to engage and guide users
- A basic user in a video editing software (Can also be taught)
You have
- a visual design education or still enrolled and more than 1 year into the education
- A portfolio showcasing your work with digital design as well as wireframes, prototypes and more (A showcased based on student work is fine.)
- Familiarity working in either Figma, InVision Studios, Sketch or XD (We are working in Figma)
- Understanding basic UX principles
- High interests in the digital work
- Fluency in English

Chief Operating Office (COO) within Saxo Bank
COO is responsible for building, constantly developing and improving the full digital value chain that Saxo Bank delivers to its clients and its partners. This is done in close collaboration with the IT Department and the Saxo Experience Office (SXO) and supports Saxo Bank in always providing a world class digital Saxo Experience in an efficient, stable and scalable way.
The COO Area includes the following departments: Business Management, Platforms, Operations, Trading & Market Access, Quant Department, Big Data & IA as well as the Counterparty Credit Risk Management department.
