We are looking for a Capital and Liquidity Specialist to join our Capital, Liquidity and Financial Risk team at our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark.

The position offers a great opportunity to influence own development as well as the development of the Group Risk and Capital Management function and the strengthening of the framework for Capital, Liquidity and Financial Risk management in the Saxo Bank Group. Our team consists of a dedicated and ambitious group of specialists and risk managers.

The team’s responsibility spans from strategic advisory and management support on capital and liquidity management and planning to monitoring and reporting of capital and liquidity metrics to internal and external stakeholders.


Your main responsibilities


  • Performing Capital and Liquidity assessments (e.g., ICAAP, ILAAP) as well as supporting strategic Capital planning and management for Saxo Bank A/S and its subsidiaries
  • Stress testing of capital and capital requirements
  • Analysis and implementation of new regulation and requirements related to Capital and Liquidity Management
  • Reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Development projects and ad-hoc analysis

Your qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics
  • Either newly graduated or some experience working within the financial sector
  • Strong interest in understanding financial markets, different financial instruments, risk management, IT and technology
  • Excel skills are required. Experience using data management and visualization tools e.g. SQL and PowerBI, is very beneficial
  • Ability to gather, present and visualize data in MS PowerPoint
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English – Danish is beneficial

Group, Finance & Risk Operations (GFR) within Saxo Bank


The Group Finance & Risk Operations division is responsible for the corporate functions in the value chain within Saxo Bank; Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Treasury.

Some of the key responsibilities for the division include:

  • Servicing the different parts of the organization in reaching their respective business goals
  • Controlling cost and generating higher and more stable revenue, leading to an improved EBIT margin
  • Managing capital cost and regulation efficiently to generate an improved return on Equity
  • Ensuring the Bank is in compliance with regulation and implementing proper risk control at all times as well as minimizing business risk on all aspects
  • Providing solid and reliable tracking of customer activities
  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting on the Saxo Experience though a systematic and lean approach
