We are seeking a structured and analytical Master Planner with experience preferably within API production planning or other areas within the pharmaceutical industry. AGC Biologics is a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with facilities in Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan and USA and with customers from all over the world. We have more than 30 nationalities employed and the daily language is English.
Technical Operations
Technical operations covers 5 manufacturing lines and a support department responsible for the production of Drug Substance/ Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) for pre-clinical, clinical and commercial use.
We are growing our business with a new facility in Søborg. This increases the complexity of our Sales and operational planning process. We are in need of person who can increase the maturity level of the existing Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) cycle.
The role is currently under establishment and you will have the opportunity to play a part in its development.
The position
As the Master Planneryou will be responsible for:
- Managing our Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) processes
- Gathering demand from Project management and Business development teams
- Simulate planning scenarios in MS projects scheduling tool
- Facilitate supply review with all AGC stakeholders
- Facilitate S&OP approval meeting with Site management.
- Strong collaboration and communication with supply chain management
- Support on planning of cross functional activities in technical operations
- Cross site alignment on planning systems and business processes
- Support global finance on forecasting tool
- Drive IT system initiatives and support organization on optimization and automation
- Main point of contact on batch planning questions
There is constant collaboration across the organization, and all employees have a professional and flexible attitude towards their work.
You will together with the Team Leaders and the head of department be part of the leadership team where operation, development and optimization of the entire department will be key.
Experience and competencies
The ideal candidate holds a Masters in Industrial engineering/ management/ supply chain or similar and have previous worked preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate for the position has several of the below competencies/experiences
- +2 years of experience in Production, Sales or Operation planning
- +5 in the Pharmaceutical industry
- Strong communication skills (English) and Strong collaboration skills
- Can cope with a high work pace in a dynamic environment
- Structured and analytical oriented
- Experience in Excel, MS Project and Power BI.
- Strong facilitation skills
Highly-motivated with strong sense of urgency, positive can do attitude and not afraid of rolling up the sleeves, in the process of maturing the organization.
