Functional Consultant - Global IT, Demant
Would you like to facilitate complex process and technical problem solving to enhance and ensure the optimal use of business applications? And would you like to take part in upgrading AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management and continue the roll-out to the rest of the world?

We are currently looking for a new Functional Consultant to join us on this journey and be a part of Global IT at Demant.
Take part in our Dynamics 365 upgrade
In the last years we have successfully been rolling out AX2012 R3 to our European Wholesale companies. We are now preparing for upgrading AX2012 to D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management and continue the roll-out to the rest of the world. At the same time, the team is responsible for continuous improvement, support, and operations of the AX2012 solution.
You will be part of the upgrade project where we are continuing using the global template that was built for AX2012. The team is located at the headquarters in the Copenhagen area, and you will be part of a highly qualified and engaged team of professionals having passion for supporting and developing ERP solutions which are supporting our long-term ambition.
Be our trusted solution advisor
As Functional Consultant in Wholesale Solutions, you will be part of our D365 upgrade and play a vital role in the daily operations and guide our stakeholders in utilizing best-practice solutions. You will also take part in initiatives optimizing business processes and be a trusted colleague and solution advisor for our business stakeholders and your colleagues in support. In your role, you will be facilitating complex process and technical problem solving to enhance and ensure the optimal use of business applications.
You will primarily work within MS D365FSCM/AX 2012 Sales, Logistics, Procurement and Operation, and Finance. Furthermore, you will be focusing on solution usability, understanding the requirements, and delivering best in class solutions. You can generate new ideas and provide a good user experience. It is natural for you to understand and document business/user requirements including integration requirements cross ERP and several legacy systems and 3rd party solutions.
Below you will find your most important responsibilities:
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional specification to assure best in class development
- Act as the change ambassador when working with system enhancements coming either from projects or business change requests
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing Demant MS Dynamics AX platform
- Administrative tasks such as user access, rights administration
- Solving issues with AX 2012/D 365FSCM
- Providing super user training
- Participation in project activities contributing with business knowledge and application insight
- Providing services as needed and agreed with the business
- Working with solutions, functional design, technical specifications, test scripts and training material
- Daily support of users of Microsoft Dynamics AX
Understand the technical language and our business needs
In order to be successful in the role you must be able to understand the different needs from the business. This means that you should be interested in the technical aspects of the applications, but it is equally important that you thrive in being close to the business and that you see yourself as being the coordinating and planning force between various stakeholders from different parts of the organization as well as external vendors.
Having experience from an IT application environment (maybe within a wholesale company) will be an advantage. Maybe you have a bachelor or master’s degree either from CBS or ITU with a focus on IT. Apart from that it´s important that you have some years of experience from a global IT enterprise environment.
When it comes to personal skills you have strong stakeholder management skills and focusing on the user experience and being able to put yourself in the user’s situation comes natural to you.
Finally, you are service-minded and communicate easily with colleagues at all levels.
