To further strengthen our Commercial Finance department, we are looking for our new Finance Business Partner. So, are you interested in working closely with our leaders globally ensuring precise financial data is delivered and presented in an actionable and constructive manner? As part of the Finance Partner team, you will play an important role in delivering precise and relevant information on business performance. You will work closely together with Saxo’s senior management, but also become a trusted partner in the broader organisation. The Finance Partner team currently consists of three colleagues, and you will be reporting to our Head of Finance Partners.
The Finance Partner team is responsible for management reporting including presenting to the board/executive management as well as more detailed reporting packages for our global offices, business lines and HQ functions. The reporting process is performed monthly to ensure a consistent basis for follow-up and decision making and is continuously evaluated to maximise the value and the efficiency of the process.
The Finance Partner team is an integral part of the forecast process within Saxo including a broad range of work tasks in close cooperation with the business, e.g., development/management of forecast models, preparation of business cases/analysis for larger initiatives as well as consolidation of the total financial outlook.
Among others our team is responsible for:
- Monthly performance follow-up with budget owners and project managers on operating cost and development projects.
- Ensuring cost and KPI transparency as part of the performance discussions and reporting, including continuous build-up of Power BI and Excel based reporting models and planning tool.
- Projects and analysis in corporation with colleagues in Commercial Finance and across the organisation to ensure alignment and transparency around decision making.
- Continuously ensure decisions are implemented and reflected in the forecast/budget.
The position is based in our headquarter in Hellerup. Business travels will be limited.
Your Profile:
- Hold a BSc/MSc degree in a relevant field (e.g. finance, economics or similar educational background.
- Advanced user in Excel – (experience within PowerBI, HFM/Oracle, and Navision will further be an advantage).
- Have a strong financial toolbox and understanding of both accounting and finance processes.
Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate who is structured, detail-oriented, self-motivated and analytical. Someone with focus on effective problem solving while working with tight deadlines. You are team player willing to share learnings and new ideas. Additionally, you have flair for communicating at different management levels.

Group Finance is responsible for the following corporate functions in the value chain within the bank: Finance, Legal, Procurement and Treasury.

Some of the key responsibilities for the division include:
• Controlling cost and generating higher and more stable revenue, leading to an improved EBIT margin
• Managing capital cost and regulation efficiently to generate an improved return on Equity
• Supporting mergers and Acquisitions for the Group
• Supervising and overseeing the review, negotiation and drafting of major contracts, tender documents and other legal documents, as required by the operational departments
• Organizing and managing liquidity globally
