You will be responsible for reporting and newsletters

As our new Leadership Secretariat Assistant, your areas of work will be focused on tasks related to documentation of ActionAid Denmark (AADK)’s work both nationally and internationally.You will be responsible for reporting and newslettersThis includes the responsibility of two cross-organizational reports in cooperation with other Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) staff from different teams, and for the monthly media newsletter to the staff, Board and Council, as well as news updates on our intranet.Tasks will also include:
  • Storytelling from and translating of datasets into two annual reports
  • Graphic setup and writing monthly media newsletters
  • Assisting in the making of Environmental, Social & Governance reports
  • Continuous updating of news on the intranet
  • Assist in data verification, analysis and tracking outputs and outcomes
  • Provide technical support to departments for M&E related activities
  • Carry out other duties, e.g., helping out with meeting practicalities, assisting in bigger events such as conferences and Council meetings

    You will report to the Director of Finance & Administration and become a part of the Leadership Secretariat that supports the Leadership Team incl. the Secretary General, the Board and the Council. You will also be working closely together with the other members of the Leadership Secretariat.
    You have advanced writing skills and an analytical mindset

    You have advanced writing skills and an analytical mindsetTo be the perfect fit for this role it is important that you have excellent skills in both writing and layout and graphic programs. At the same time, you have an analytical mindset and proficiency in translating complex datasets into visually compelling and easy-to-understand graphics and are able to tell stories through data.We also expect that:
  • You are pursuing an academic degree in a relevant field
  • You have interest in and knowledge of monitoring and evaluation as well as in development issues and NGO work
  • You have knowledge of and preferably experience with organizational work
  • You have the ability to write a variety of texts, from technical documentation to contextual storytelling
  • You work independently
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English
