Now, you have an opportunity to work in the center of Copenhagen and join a diverse workforce of over 2000+ employees spanning 50+ nationalities.Your RoleYou will be an integral part of the patent team that consists of several patent attorneys, patent engineers and patent searchers that work together to support [xxxxx]’s IP position. Your curious and outgoing personality and knowledge of technology would be instrumental in facilitating patent activities across our different business areas and building a bridge between IP, R&D, and product strategy. The role offers an opportunity to work on patent projects while getting exposed to sophisticated hardware & software along with recent advances in machine learning and AI solutions.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Expanding our patent portfolio by identifying innovative ideas and preparing them for drafting together with our inhouse patent attorneys
  • Enhancing our internal idea harvesting reach-out program and processes to support patent portfolio development
  • Collaborate closely with our product development project teams to gain a deep understanding of the project, and perform project related patent landscape studies
  • Collaborate closely together with the product strategy team to develop insights into the business area, market, and competitive landscape from a product perspective
  • Conducting strategic surveillance of third-party patent publications.

  • Are highly initiative-driven, productive, out-going, with a willingness to explore and a motivation to meet targets
  • Possess a genuine focus on technology and see yourself thriving at the intersection of business, technology, and Intellectual property
  • Hold at least a master’s degree in physics, optics, electrical/electronics engineering, software, or a related field
  • Have great interpersonal skills and an engaging personality
  • It could be an asset to have prior exposure to patents (e.g. from a previous R&D position), or at least be ready to learn about patents.
