Steel House Copenhagen is a New-Yorker style luxury hostel with a central location close to the buzzing life of Copenhagen. Being a luxury hostel means that we are more than just beds. We create experiences and make people feel included and at home with top-notch amenities and facilities. We take pride in setting up social events, i.e. karaoke, tastings, quiz nights, game nights and much more. Our team is relaxed yet ambitious and we focus on creating a homely feel and great experiences for our guests every day.

One for all - all for one
Want to work as a bartender, barista, waiter, receptionist, DJ, SoMe specialist and venue coordinator all at the same time? Come work with us!
Working for Steel House Copenhagen you need to be comfortable with changing tasks and taking charge. We are looking for people, who want to become a part of a family and a culture - it's not just a job. We need people who enjoy human interaction and who do not mind varying working hours as this is a part of our industry.
As an All in One colleague, your tasks will include but not be limited to:
People person with high standards
First of all we expect you to be good with people. You need to understand each guest and make them feel comfortable despite the 110 other things you need to do. You are going to be the person that makes them want to come back and you will take part in their full experience at our hostel. Secondly, you need to have a passion for our industry. We are not here to make a simple transfer - money for a bed - we are here to create experiences and to be that place where people hang out and will remember years later. Therefore, we expect you to have high standards when it comes to:
And very importantly - a smile is contagious - in a very positive way. We need to see yours so we can spread that feeling of being welcome, safe and happy.
Experience within the hospitality industry is a plus.
We do not expect you to speak Danish, but it does not hurt your chances. Furthermore, knowledge of other languages is just a plus - we love diversity!

- assisting with check-in (for those who can’t use our self-service check-in desks)
- sell coffee, beer, wine, drinks, food and snacks – and plenty of it
- handle and organize big groups
- help our guests to the best cafés, restaurants and bars… (according to their needs of course)
- as well as museums, sites and shopping in the city (you’re the expert).

- being positive, outgoing and above all service minded
- being a dynamic and energetic team player
- keeping cool when the pressure hits and enjoy the fast pace
- knowing Copenhagen and all its offerings and possibilities
- having knowledge of social media and user generated reviews
- being flexible and ready to work both evenings and weekends
- being fluent in both written and spoken English
