What is the role about?
Our patients are at the heart of what we try to accomplish every day. Providing safe, compliant and robust IT and OT solutions across Novo Nordisk Pharmatech (NNPR), is essential to deliver quality products to our patients. As an IT System Manager at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech you will assist our laboratories handling a broad range of tasks related to system management, entailing driving system- and platform upgrades and being part of development teams. Since a lot of automation and optimisation is currently ongoing in the area, it is also possible to play an important role in the cross-disciplinary project teams driving and supporting these projects. You will be joining a project team focussed on optimising our current setup within IT compliance and the use of automation solutions. The project will take charge of developing of our operation, maintenance, automated configuration, automated patching and regulatory compliance for more than 50 non-GxP and GxP laboratory IT systems and equipment, supporting our three very different laboratories. Your responsibilities will cover the following: Help improve and optimise (LEAN) our processes, both within technical IT support/management and within IT compliance by utilising automation solutions and systems Helping to further strengthen our IT license to operate in relation to GxP and non-GxP IT systems across three laboratories covering R&D, Microanalysis support and Quality Control Preparing for approval of validation documentation together with Line of Business Writing and approving change requests and updating SOP’s (procedures and instructions), in support of other IT/OT roles Moreover, you will support our IT System Managers in operations with processes and systems to ensure periodic activities are completed timely and in good quality - such as IT risk assessments, LCM assessments, periodic IT system evaluations, user review reporting, and other needed reporting. What are we looking for? Today you might be working as an IT service support engineer or perhaps as a laboratory technician, chemist or pharmacist with strong experience within IT systems in a regulated laboratory. It could also be that you are working in an IT role, supporting or administrating IT systems in a regulated environment. The profile is not as important as the competencies you possess. To succeed in this role, you should have Experience with IT systems used for pharmaceutical or regulated production purposes as well as experience with IT Projects, ISO-documented processes Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and knowledge of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) 5. A BSc or MSc degree in IT, pharmacy, engineering or similar, backed by 3+ years of relevant experience within governance, operation, and maintenance of IT systems Candidates with a non-academic background and vast experience within the relevant fields will also be considered As Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is an international company, it is a requirement that you are fluent in English and it is an advantage if you master Danish, both spoken and written. On a personal level, you are a structured team player, a good communicator, and you can drive your tasks to completion. You have a strong analytical and quality mindset and are known for building good relations with your colleagues and stakeholders at all organisational levels. The department waiting for you Your new department consist of experienced and highly qualified professionals and technicians with various backgrounds within IT administration, IT compliance, IT system management and automation & control systems. You will join the IT & OT department consisting of 30+ dedicated and talented colleagues within IT administration, IT compliance, IT system management and automation & control systems. The project team will be established with resources from IT&OT and relevant stakeholders from the rest of the organisation. We work diligently to support the entire value chain at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech, ranging from Research & Development to manufacturing, laboratories, warehouse operations and Sales & Marketing. We support our stakeholders with daily operations tasks and projects such as the implementation of new products, improvement of site IT infrastructure and new digital solutions. The IT & OT department, along with the rest of NNPR, is currently expanding to fulfil the increased demands from products from Novo Nordisk A/S. The expansion is also fuelled by our strong desire to ensure a healthy work environment and make even more room for personal development and growth.
