The position In this role, you will work with diverse data sets across multiple business areas to provide valuable insights and drive informed decision-making. By employing your data and modelling skills to address our specific use cases, you will support our journey towards advanced analytics. Your responsibilities will include analysing and cleansing large datasets, as well as converting data into actionable business insights, predictions, and visualizations, all with the goal of driving business impact. Collaboration with our LEAN (or cLEAN®, as we call it in Novo Nordisk) partners will be essential to ensure our processes are optimized for digitalization. As part of your role, you will be responsible for: Monitoring and managing our performance Preparing reports and presenting them to management Developing data models Supporting the incubation of digitalization ideas from inception to maturity Collaborating with various departments to develop and implement solutions, and leading task forces to tackle specific challenges You will also foster a vibrant digital community at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S through initiatives such as coordinating webinars, establishing forums, creating engaging content, promoting collaboration, information sharing, and more. This position will enable you to get a comprehensive understanding of the organization, engage directly with senior stakeholders at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech, participate in selected management fora, and gain valuable insights into project priorities within a large corporation. If you have an IT/Digitalization background, this is an excellent opportunity for you to make an immediate impact and help shape the evolution of this newly-created position. Qualifications If you possess a natural talent for working with data and a passion for data analytics, there are many paths that can lead you to this role. We envision that the ideal candidate will possess: A degree in fields such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related area, along with 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within Business Intelligence The ability to analyse complex, high-volume, and multi-dimensional data from diverse sources and present complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner Familiarity with analytical and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI Experience using data analysis tools/languages such as Alteryx, R, SQL, or Python, with the ability to transfer knowledge to other tools is a plus Experience with automation tools such as the Microsoft Power Platform or similar, as well as continuous improvement and LEAN tools, is an added advantage. We are looking for a proactive, driven, eager-to-learn, and curious individual with a 'can-do' attitude and a detail-oriented, solution-driven mindset. You must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and fluency in English, as we have international colleagues and stakeholders. As a team player with a good sense of humour, you should be able to work effectively with a diverse group of colleagues. About the department You will work in a team with 8 supportive colleagues. At NNPR, we make a comprehensive effort to ensure efficient and relevant onboarding. You will participate in a centralised onboarding program with other new employees, where you will go through an exciting introduction plan in order to provide an aligned and effective start at NNPR. The initial onboarding is hosted by the People & Organisation (P&O) team. Once you have completed the initial onboarding, the manager of cLEAN and Digitalisation team, as well as your new digitalisation partner colleague, will introduce you to your specific role at NNPR. We will together map out your new responsibilities, focusing on your current skills and qualifications and what you will be needing to develop further.
