Green Hydrogen Systems



Green Hydrogen Systems is undergoing rapid development, and there is a need for additional ambitious and imaginative people. As a Piping Lead, you will be part of the development department, where you will be the go-to person on everything in connection to piping and tubing. In corporation with the process and electrical teams, you will be involved in developing process technical solutions to their pressurised alkaline electrolysers from selections of components to dimensioning of piping systems to control of the electrolysis system and testing of it.

The position requires great professional knowledge and effective interaction with colleagues and Supply Chain. You will help develop their mechanical competencies across the company and ensure a continued development of their leading technology.

Areas of responsibility:


The Piping Lead will ensure timely delivery of conceptual, definition and detailed design for development and platform modification designs to enhance production and improve safety and environmental performance.

Engineering solutions proposed must be economically and technically robust. Close liaison with production, engineering and local consultants will be required to provide a cost-effective service.

Specific work tasks:


You will personally work with or assist your team in:

  • 3D piping construction in Solid Works
  • 2D documentation for use in sourcing
  • Preparation of requirements specification
  • Piping for hydrogen, oxygen, water, lye, and cooling systems
  • Dimensioning of pipes in relation to stress

Person profile:


Your hold a degree at BSc or MSc level in mechanical engineering or similar. You can demonstrate extensive and in-depth mechanical engineering experience from the manufacturing and process industry, working with either piping, vessels, scrubbers, or other similar pressure carrying equipment e.g., oil/gas/petrochemical, pharmaceutical, brewery industry or similar.

The specific knowledge stems from:

  • Experience with piping, pipe joints, valves, and pumps
  • Experience from HAZOP, HAZID and design reviews
  • Preferably experience with design, construction of ATEX approved equipment

You are perceived as a responsible and self-driven person where attention to details, structure and a systematic approach comes naturally to you. You speak Danish and English at a high level, both orally and in written.
