We are currently seeking talented scientists to join our team in Måløv, Denmark, or Oxford, UK.
Key responsibilities: Drive innovative and creative solutions to design novel antibodies or nanobodies in concert with other departments. Employing sequence, structure and machine learning driven modelling approaches to improve functional and biophysical properties of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals, and to translate best-performance techniques into production. Securing and driving state-of-the-art Molecular Modelling and/or Machine Learning technologies with antibody design to accelerate and innovate the drug discovery process at Novo Nordisk and which acts as critical component of the project progress. Generate and store ML ready data from antibody projects. Identify potential liabilities and developability issues along the antibody discovery pipeline. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have: Master’s degree required. PhD preferred. Degree within Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in clinical or industrial antibody/nanobody development, or equivalent academic records. More experienced scientists are also encouraged to apply. Deep understanding of antibody or nanobody sequence, structure, function, and their development in an industrial setting Solid experience of relevant computational tools, including but not restricted to Python programming, molecular modelling and simulations (Rosetta, Schrödinger, or similar), sequence analysis, and machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Azure ML, or similar). Experience in usage of HPC solutions (aws, azure, or similar). Experience in B-cell Rep-Seq and scRNA-Seq analysis is a plus. About the department
