Do you want to play a key role in Quality Control (QC) digitalization and automatization and take your static skills within the Global laboratory information management system (GlobalLIMS) to a new level? Are you an experienced LIMS static builder, and do you have a solid understanding of the features within LIMS? Do you have experience working with Empower, and understand the practical and theoretical background in chromatographic principles? Are you energized by handling daily operational tasks, projects and complex challenges within LIMS and Empower? Are you excited about the possibility to be part of a newly established centralized Empower and LIMS function that supports QC in Emerging Technologies? If so, you could be our new LIMS static builder and Empower superuser. The position In Emerging Technologies DP MDev & QC, we are involved in many projects leading automatization and digitalization within QC. You will become a part of a team of skilled and experienced colleagues that drive the implementation of automated and digital solutions in collaboration with our stakeholders. You will contribute to developing and implementing optimization opportunities and support stakeholders navigate within complex processes in a highly regulated environment. You will be a part of the QC connectivity project implementation, connecting laboratory equipment to GlobalLIMS as well as being a part of other projects. As part of this role, you will: Provide empower and LIMS support to laboratory technicians, chemists, equipment responsible, etc. Collaborate with stakeholders in PS incl., QC in Durham Build/update empower methods and validate custom fields Build/update LIMS methods and validate data transfer Maintain static data standards across departments Support training of new end-users in Empower and LIMS Participate in improvement projects as well as in complex projects Participate in systematic problem solving Handle change requests (CR) Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a quality mindset, as well as: You have an educational background as a laboratory technician, biomedical laboratory scientist, or a similar education combined with experience from the pharmaceutical industry. You have the knowledge of what it takes to comply with good manufacturing practice (GMP) You have experience working with one or more of the software, Empower and/or GlobalLIMS You have a practical and theoretical background in chromatographic principles and LIMS static You understand the concepts and processes involved in chromatographic analyses It is an advantage to have: Superuser level in Empower and/or GlobalLIMS. You have great collaboration and communication skills, a can-do attitude, are well-organized, and you are a team player. You thrive working in a dynamic environment with multiple projects and ambitious deadlines. In addition, you have a strong desire to optimize and rethink any given process. Relevant information: In this position, you will not run analyses in the QC laboratory. The position exclusively offers to work with Empower and LIMS tasks. About the department Emerging Technologies MDEV & QC is a new area within Novo Nordisk where the oral portfolio plays a significant role. We are approximately 200 employees, and we are growing. We work with quality control and compliance of the facilities, the equipment, QC lab, manufacturing development as well the release of tablets for the market.
