Are you passionate about sales and do you like to build strong long-term relations? And do you also like to provide good service for your customers and go the extra mile? Then you could be our next Bunker Trader Trainee.
Business is expanding at KPI OceanConnect, and we are looking for an ambitious and talented sales professional who wants to work in an international and high pace environment with highly professional colleagues. You will be based in our office in Middelfart, Denmark however if you join KPI OceanConnect as a Bunker Trader Trainee, the whole world becomes your place of work. You will quickly be given responsibility and the chance to build on your existing skills as part of one of the biggest bunker trading groups in the world.
As our new Bunker Trader Trainee, you will be developing new accounts and establishing strong relations with customers and suppliers. You will get support from our experienced traders, who will introduce you to the business, relevant platforms, and systems.
Successful applicants will be offered a two-year, structured training program in an international learning environment where you will develop a solid understanding of the bunker industry. As well as working in the trading team you will attend courses at the Danish Shipping Academy and as a result, receive a two-year education from a recognized institution. In addition, we offer you to join our Trader Introduction Program which is one of several in-house training tools offered to you to enhance your career development.

This program will give you a two- year education that’s highly recognized within the industry combined with professional experience and an inspiring job as a Bunker Trader. We expect the start date to be in August 2021.

More specifically your day-to-day responsibility will include:
- Worldwide trading
- Advising on various bunker solutions, fuel products and quality
- Managing and coordinating bunker deliveries
- Market analysis to identify new business opportunities
