Job Description
In Danfoss Procurement, within the Business Support, Vendor Master team, we are currently looking for a System & Data Integration specialist in Denmark (flexible).
The Business Support Team is a competence center responsible for master data management, reporting, processes and automation of tools. As a specialist within the Vendor master area you will initiate and drive the development of tools and solution to secure transparency and high quality vendor master data across various systems a platforms. You will work closely together with the central vendor master team which takes care of operational vendor data management tasks. This is to secure that the vendor master team continuously optimize their tools and processes to enable data quality improvements.
As our new System & Data Integration specialist, your main area of responsibility will be to manage and drive data integration between SAP MDG and our multiple SAP and non-SAP ERP systems. Vendor master data is used across these systems, why you need to ensure that the vendor data is cleaned and of high quality. This means that the data is ready to use and integrate across multiple systems and platforms. Furthermore, you will participate in projects with IT and other relevant stakeholders to keep developing the scope of SAP MDG – both in terms of the processes and covered data, but also in relation to integration with other systems. Depending on your background and qualifications, the role can also include analyzing and optimizing business processes together with designing and implementing tools for data cleansing and data quality improvement.
Background and skills
There are more ways to this position. You may have a background as SAP consultant with system knowledge about SAP MDG, S/4 HANA, master data etc., but you can also come from a data management role where you have been working with BI or as Data Scientist. More importantly, we expect that you have a solid IT and data management background, as you need to solve complex business problems.
You will represent Danfoss Procurement in projects with different stakeholders, why your ability to focus and keeping the business priorities in sight is a key success factor. Additionally, communication is an important part of the position when specifying requirements, documenting solutions and conducting trainings in new system functionalities, why also a high proficiency in English is required. In summary the desired background and skillset is listed below:
Amount of travelling will depend on your location, as you will need to come to Nordborg every once in a while.
