JOIN OUR MARINE DEPARTMENT IN COPENHAGEN
The Marine and Foundations department in COWI is part of the Energy and Climate Infrastructure business unit and is undertaking projects from both the Nordic and international markets. We offer a comprehensive range of consulting services related to the development of ports, terminals, coastal and marine structures. Further, we act as a partner to help our clients understand the risks and if needed secure their existing or planned assets against climate changes.

In this position you will join our global team of experts and work closely with project managers and specialists. You will be responsible for production of high-quality 3D BIM Models in Tekla for marine structures, including piled jetties, retaining walls, quays and steel structures.

EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL WITHIN A TEAM OF EXPERTS
In this position you will join our global team of experts and work closely with project managers and specialists. You will be responsible for production of high-quality 3D BIM Models in Tekla for marine structures, including piled jetties, retaining walls, quays and steel structures.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Prepare BIM execution plan and facilitate its implementation on projects.
- Do a model set-up including choosing the optimal approach to parametrization of components.
- Be an integral part of the team to coordinate specialists' input to modeling.
- Coordinate a distributed BIM team and plan production of drawings.
- Generate 4D construction sequence.
- Undertake modeling directly when required.
- Be responsible for doing estimation, planning and tracking of the project.
- Ensure quality checks at each stage of modeling, drawing submissions or quantities take-off.
- Promote knowledge and contribute to BIM excellence efforts.

Furthermore, you should:
- Hold a MSc / BSc in Civil Engineering and come with 3-8 years of total work experience with at least 3 yrs. in Tekla.
- Have strong 3D visualization capabilities.
- Have extensive knowledge in Tekla Model preparation & extraction of 2D drawings using CIVIL 3D
- Have strong skills in using Navisworks and Trimble Connect
- Have capabilities to create parametric model using Grasshopper.
- Have extensive experience in BIM process - creating and updating projects in BIM and updating model contents to support on-going designs
Below mentioned skills will be given an added advantage:
- Previous experience in structural design before deciding to specialize in BIM delivery
- Ability to create high quality 3D visualizations for infrastructure projects and renderings using 3DStudioMax, Enscape, VRay or similar tools
- Knowledge of marine structures
- Experience in Revit structure, Navisworks, Civil3D and Auto CAD
- Expertise in using Dynamo with Revit or Civil3D
